I’ve always had huge pores, and it can really put a damper on things when you’re done with your makeup and you realize your pores look huge! Okay, so maybe it’s not that big of a deal, but it’s really annoying when that does happen. And if you’ve ever really paid attention, sometimes your pores look bigger than others. That’s because some makeup does a better job of hiding pores than others!
So here’s a few things you can use help hide your pores 🙂
Primers
This can be one of the easiest things you can use to help minimize your pore. Chances are you’ve heard of these, and I’m here to tell you that they really work!
First is the obvious. Benefit’s POREfessional pore minimizing primer. It’s really as easy as that. You just apply it in your problem areas. You can build it up a little, but be careful not to use too much.
The second option is a lot cheaper. Maybelline’s Baby Skin! It’s a very good alternative to the POREfessional. A couple things to note here though.. It’s got a different feel. It’s more like silicone, which in turns means it’s a lot heavier. But it’s also a LOT cheaper.
Powder Foundation
So… for many of you this is probably not what you want to hear, but liquid foundation can be really bad when it comes to hiding your pores. It seems to sink in to every one and highlight them. If you really want to minimize pores, you’re going to want to use a powder foundation. And I’ll let you know how to use it in the next point.
Powder Puff + Setting Powder
A powder puff to apply powder is the absolute best way to hide your pores. This goes for using powder foundation and almost especially when you’re using a liquid foundation and setting powder. When you set your foundation, apply powder with a puff and in this manner will make a huge difference. This is the video I watched to find out about this great tip 🙂
Slow Application of Liquid Foundation
If you can’t keep yourself from using liquid foundations, then try to take it easy with the liquid foundation. And what I mean by that is you want to apply just a little at a time. Take it slow, and make sure you don’t use any more than you need. Not only does that mean you’ll save more of your foundation, but you won’t have extra foundation to expose those pores.
