Tape for the perfect cat eye
For those of you who are terrified of liquid eyeliner because you just cant seem to get that straight line, have no fear! Tape is coming to your rescue. All you need to do is use a small piece of scotch tape and apply from the corner of your eye to the edge of your eyebrows. This creates a nice straight line for your to use your liquid eyeliner against. Make sure you allow time for your liquid eyeliner to dry, and then just carefully remove the tape. Voila! Pretty easy, huh?
Pro Tip: If you don’t have tape lying around, you can use the edge of a fork or spoon handle! Actually there are lots of things you could use.
Turn your pencil eyeliner into a gel!
Ever wish your pencil eyeliner was a gel so you could smudge it out better or even use it as an eyeshadow? Well, you can, and it’s really easy! All you have do is use a lighter and just carefully melt the tip of the pencil. Let it cool a little but not completely, and there you go. Your favorite pencil eyeliner is now a gel 🙂
Conceal dark circles
Rather than just applying concealer over the bags of your eyes, the best way to conceal dark circles is actually by creating a triangular shape that extends across the skin right below your eye and connects at a point in the middle of your cheek. When exaggerated, this can often create a Kim Kardashian look.
Create your own foundation from your favorite concealer
This one is actually really interesting (and might not be for everyone). It takes a bit of messing around with to get the right ratio, but mixing concealer with lotion allows for you to create a foundation of your own coverage. Want a full coverage foundation? Use a 2 to 1 ratio of lotion to concealer. If this is a little much for you, then just increase the amount of lotion to the same amount of concealer.
No-Surgery eye lift
Lots of people talk about contouring of the cheeks and the nose, but did you know you can give yourself an eye lift? Use a light concealer or a highlighter on top of your foundation just above the arch of your eyebrows and blend. It’s as simple as that. The lighter color draws the eyes attention to above the eyebrow making your eyebrows appear more arched!
