This post is going to be my 7 “must haves”. I own a lot of makeup, so it was pretty hard to narrow my collection down to 7 items. But I did it! Here are the 7 makeup items I’d chose if I could only have 7 products in my collection:
# 1: Benefit POREfessional

What’s weird about this choice is that I actually don’t use this product everyday, and that’s mostly because of how expensive it is. Regardless of the price, if I could only have 7 items, this would have to be one of them. It works miracles! I have huge pores, and with just a little bit of this stuff, the size of my pores is reduced dramatically. It’s the one item out of my entire list that I would wear on it’s own because it minimizes pores and leaves the skin with a very natural look. (And I do mean natural here. The “no pores look” is unnatural. This product isn’t going to completely make all of your pores go away, but it does make a huge difference).
# 2: Revlon ColorStay Foundation

Obviously a foundation had to be in this list… and OBVIOUSLY, it had to be Revlon ColorStay… It’s amazing! Depending how on my skin is looking, I can apply a little or a lot (well not too much!) and get a great foundation for the rest of my makeup! The combination/oily one is perfect for me, and it comes in so many colors. If you haven’t given this one a try, you’re really missing out.
# 3: NYC Sunny Bronzer

I am true believer in the foundation, bronzer, blush trio. (I’ve never actually called it that before, but I’m making it a thing now haha). If I have to choose one bronzer, it’s always going to be NYC Sunny. It’s a great bronzer that’s really cheap. Very blend-able and a good color for my skin tone. Side note: I haven’t tried Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer, so if you were shaking your head thinking I should have chosen that one… well now you know why!
# 4: Tarte Blush

Notice I didn’t even give a specific Tarte Blush? That’s because I have fallen in love with all Tarte blushes! Seriously… They are super blend-able which is perfect because I can really build up my blush to the perfect amount that I need. I just want a little flush? You got it. I want a more dramatic feel? Also got it! Not only are they super blend-able but they also stay on your face throughout the day! At least a whole lot better than a lot of the blushes that I have tried.
# 5: Urban Decay Primer Potion

I honestly don’t think there is much to say here. It’s the best eyeshadow primer ever. ‘Nuff said.
# 6: Urban Decay Naked Palette

Again, this one is pretty much a no brainer. It’s such a steal considering the individual eyeshadows are $18 (unless they went up in price?). Urban Decay eyeshadows are pretty much the best eyeshadows that I’ve ever used. Pigmented and blend-able, they’re great! And you really can’t beat the color selection!
# 7: Jordana Fabu Liner

I tried to go in order of how I’d use the products, and it just so happens that this last one is suuuuuper cheap. Like $2 cheap! It’s certainly not the most “black” liner that I’ve ever used (that probably has to go to the Tarteist – check out my review here), but it’s reliable. It stays on throughout the day, and it’s really easy to use with it’s felt tip pen. Go check it out!
I hope you enjoyed this post! What are your “must haves”? Let me know in the comments!
